Feb 9 Westby Junior Snowflake Ski Jumping Tournament - Come to see junior ski
jumpers from all around the Midwest compete on the 10, 20, 40 and 65 meter ski
jumps. The Snowflake Ski Club is offering ski jumpers and nordic combined skiers
the opportunity to compete on the 65 meter for the first alternate qualifying
round for the Junior Nationals! Following the ski jumping competition, watch the
nordic combined skiers participate in a cross-country ski race. Excellent food

Feb 9 Mardi Gras Celebration & Fundraiser - 4:30pm - Midnight. Celebrate Mardi
Gras at the Holy Trinity Mardi Gras Dinner and Party on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the
American Legion Post 52 on 6th and Market Streets in La Crosse. Enjoy a roast
beef dinner, sponsored by the American Legion, Bakalars Sausage Company, and D.L.
Cakery, from 4:30-7 p.m., followed by a Mardi Gras circus-themed party from 7
p.m. to midnight. Ticket prices are $10 for the dinner and party, or $5 at the
door for the party only. The party includes beer, snacks, cash bar, karaoke,
raffle, squareboards, a silent auction, and a live auction. Live auction items
include a team-signed Green Bay Packers football and a Seattle Seahawks football
signed by Marshawn Lynch. Raffle prizes include a first prize of $500, second
prize of $300, and a third prize of $200. Squareboard and silent auction items
include a $500 meat bundle from Holmen Meat Locker, a $300 hand-crafted saw from
Bad Axe Tool Works, a lasagna dinner for 20, and a variety of signed sports
